OCRE Offshore Services B.V. mobilizes technical experts in the Dutch and International Energy, Marine, and Offshore industries. For major projects in the energy and offshore industries, we deliver project management and full project teams. We combine knowledge and capacity in order to stay a player on a high level, on both national and international scales.
Currently, OCRE is searching for an Automation Engineer to assist one of our clients, specialized in providing digital automation systems and provides support with automation and manufacturing of composites parts. In the area of control systems and software applications, we are looking for someone to strengthen and extend our capabilities.
You will answer to the Engineering Manager. In addition to this, you will collaborate with your business unit colleagues in project management, mechanical engineering, automation, and process engineering.
Start: ASAP
Duration: Minimal contract length till end of 2023
Location: Den Haag, the Netherlands
Responsibilities:
Creates, develops, and implements PLC control systems (logic hardware and software) to meet project requirements;
Command and program industrial robots;
Recognize the specifications needed for user/communication interfaces and networking, then build specifications around them;
Ability to conduct intricate system tests and troubleshoot equipment issues;
Encourage safe, reliable, and robust operation of the automated solutions that have been developed;
Write concise work instructions and documentation.
Requirements:
Minimum BSc degree in mechanical and electrical engineering;
A minimum of three years’ experience with industrial automation;
Strong interest in and excellent understanding of PLC programming; affinity for industrial robots.
Preferred: experience with Siemens S7 and Kuka
