OCRE Offshore Services B.V. mobilizes technical experts in the Dutch and international Energy, Marine, and Offshore industries. For major projects in the energy and offshore industries, we deliver project management and full project teams. Currently, OCRE is looking for a Strategic Project Buyer for subsea cables projects.

Responsibilities:

• You play an important role in communication with customers, and are able to reliably offer and deliver high-quality accessories/services to our customers and thus strengthen long-term and successful relationships;

• With passion for your profession, you work in the tender phase to keep the prices/conditions of all accessories and services that we supply with our offshore sea cable up-to-date;

• During the project phase, as a strategic buyer, we contribute to the timely fulfillment of all contractual obligations under specified conditions. You are independently responsible for a selected number of accounts;

• Maintain contact with suppliers, search for and select new suppliers, negotiate prices and terms with attorneys, monitor supplier performance, intervene in the event of deviations or problems, monitor costs, work methods and make suggestions for improving the process.

• Within the Business Line Subsea you are part of the tender team and you support colleagues from project management. In addition, you form a good team with colleagues focusing on purchasing, R&D and production to achieve success

Requirements:

• A completed Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Economics or Industrial Engineering, preferably supplemented with NEVI;

• At least 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in a similar position, preferably within the manufacturing industry;

• Ability to use MS Office, especially Excel;

• Good command of the Dutch, German and English language in word and writing.
